Glaicy Kelly is an accomplished musician who is fulfilling her call in life as a worship leader. She combines musical excellence, multi-cultural flavors and a genuine joy for music ministry to touch people’s lives with inspiration and hope. These qualities are evident on her debut CD “Praise Adonai,” which was released in October 2009.

Glaicy is currently a worship leader at Life Church in Medford, Mass., building on more than 15 years of music ministry, which started with her role as youth choir director at World Revival Church in Somerville in the 1990s. To advance her musical abilities to a professional level, she graduated from the Longy School of Music in 2000 and attended Berklee College of Music in 2002-2003.

She has participated in a wide variety of ensembles, orchestras and worship teams. This includes the 3 Irish Tenors, Longy School of Music Chamber Orchestra, World Revival Church’s worship team, Harvard Radcliffe Summer Orchestra, New England Metropolitan Summer Flute Orchestra, and Berklee ensemble groups, Boston Night of Worship, UNOW among others.

Glaicy also lead a singing group she formed, called 1inChrist. This group made guest appearances in Glaicy’s CD “Praise Adonai.” Since its founding, the group has toured throughout New England as well as Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and California, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to audiences through praise and worship music. Their last appearance was in 2012.  They are now taking some time off.

Glaicy was born in Brazil and came to the U.S. in 1987 with her parents. She now lives in Revere, MA with her husband Marcio M Lage and daughter Larissa D Lage.
